Remembering A Hero 2023: RI Home Security Offers Free Security System for Heroes

As a homeowner, keeping your family and property safe is always a top priority. However, sometimes unexpected situations can arise that put your security at risk.

At RI Home Security, we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe and protected in their home. That’s why we’re excited to continue with our annual campaign, which offers a free home security system and monitoring services to deserving heroes in Rhode Island.

Our campaign is focused on honoring the memory of fallen soldiers and providing their families with a sense of security in their home. We want to hear their stories and show our appreciation for the service and sacrifice they made for our country. 

While we specifically aim to assist families of fallen soldiers, we also welcome nominations of other deserving heroes, such as first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers who have made a significant impact in their community.

What’s included in the free home security system? We’re providing a professionally installed security system that includes door and window sensors, motion sensors, and a primary control panel. These devices work together to detect and deter potential intruders, ensuring that your home is protected 24/7. Additionally, we’re offering 24 months of professional monitoring services at no charge and no monitoring agreement required. This means that if there’s an emergency, our monitoring team will be alerted and can quickly dispatch emergency services if needed.

How Do I Nominate A Family?

If you’re a Rhode Island resident and your nominee is a homeowner, you can nominate a hero by filling out our online form below. We’ll review all submissions and select a deserving recipient who will receive the free security system and monitoring services. In exchange, we’ll ask the hero to share their story and details with us, including any pictures they’re comfortable sharing. We’ll also conduct a short interview with the family, remembering their hero and the impact they’ve made in their community.
